This is a new installer of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 that resolves the crash at launch on the Microsoft Surface Studio. If you have previously installed X8 on the computer, you will need to first uninstall it and download the updated version. Here are the detailed instructions:

  • While online and connected to the internet, uninstall CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 and all components, including Corel Graphics – Windows Shell Extension. Remember to take note of the email address and password used to sign in with this installation, along with the serial number, if applicable.

    1. In Windows Control Panel, click Uninstall a program.

    2. Double-click Corel Graphics – Windows Shell Extension on the Uninstall or change a program page.

    3. Click Yes to uninstall

    4. Once complete, double-click CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8, and click Remove to uninstall.  It is recommended that user files also be uninstalled. To remove user files, enable the Remove User Files checkbox under the Remove option.

  • Download and run the updated installer of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 from here.

  • At the end of the installation process, when the sign-in dialog appears, please enter the credentials that were used with the previous installation of the trial, perpetual version (full or upgrade) or subscription. It is important to use the same credentials that are already associated with the purchase/subscription.

New Micosoft Surface studio - Corel will not load. I've deleted all. Reinstalled - tried hotfix patch... We have done this several times.

Tech support has been 0% help in fixxing this issues. I have been down for 3 days, Calling every day! I had to remove all programs from my old laptop, now I'm stuck, with nothing.

    I am up and running!

Can't tell you how happy this makes me. Now for a weekend of catching up for the 3 days down.

    Bless You!
