Some files are left behind after uninstalling Studio 16 or Avid Studio

This is normal. If you want to remove these additional files, you can remove the Studio folder located at:

Avid Studio Users:
C:Users{your user name}AppDataLocalAvidStudio

Pinnacle Studio Users:
C:Users{your user name}AppDataLocalPinnacleStudio

Important note: Deleting this Studio folder will delete the Media Database and all Settings.

Deleting the media database means that all tags, ratings, collections, clip modifications, etc. will be lost and unavailable in Studio if it is ever re-installed. Make sure that you really want to do this before removing the Studio folder.

If you cannot browse to this location, you need to enable the option to Show hidden files and folders.

1. In Windows Explorer click Organize.

2. Select Folder and Search Options.

3. Click the View tab.

4. Enable Show hidden files and folders, click Apply.
