Corel® AfterShot™ Pro – Troubleshooting

Question 1: I'm trying to convert my trial to a purchased version but the application won't accept my serial number. What do I do?


Answer 1: Please reinstall the application from the download link found in your order confirmation email and re-enter your serial number.

 

 

Question 2: I don't see Noise Ninja™ in my version of Corel® AfterShot™ Pro. Where can I find it?

Answer 2: Corel AfterShot Pro is transitioning to new noise reduction technology. If you purchased Corel AfterShot Pro after Feb. 11th, 2013 (1.1.1.10), new noise reduction technology will be available in an upcoming update. Stay tuned!

Note: If you purchased the application before Feb. 11th, 2013 (1.1.0.30 or earlier), you will be able to continue using Noise Ninja options. If you don't see Noise Ninja, reinstall from your original disk or link.



Question 3: I have a message that says I am using a trial, but I have a license. How do I get my licensed version back?

Answer 3: You might have installed an update that doesn't apply to your version of the application. Please reinstall the application from the download link found in your order confirmation email.

 


Question 4: My serial number is not compatible with my version of Corel AfterShot Pro? What do I do?

Answer 4: Please reinstall the application from the download link found in your order confirmation email and re-enter your serial number.

    AfterShot 3 Standard is very buggy. I keep getting, among other problems (like crashes and failures to batch export) No Image Available picture blackouts. Sometimes the picture comes back. Sometimes it doesn't. I tried unchecking the box in Preferences > Import & Cache as suggested in the knowledge base instructions for AfterShot 3 Pro. That did not help. Got any other solutions, workarounds for AfterShot 3 Standard? The whole program seems unstable.

    I also have crashing problems with ASPro 2. AS3 & ASPro3.....I've heard about issues concerning ASPro & Radeon Video cards at the community board. However Corel refuses to mention it or any solutions on the Corel Support Website. The only solution I have found is to un/re install however this has not provided a permanent fix.
