WordPerfect® has encountered an error and needs to close.

WordPerfect® is crashing with an error on launch and will ask if you want to send a report to Microsoft Windows.


On some workstations, the information regarding WordPerfect updates may get corrupted. To resolve the issue, follow these steps:

On Windows XP:

1. Click on the “Start” button
2. Click on “Run”
3. Type in %appdata% and hit “OK”
4. Double-Click on the “Corel” folder
5. Right-Click on the “Messages” folder and hit “Delete”

On Windows Vista/7:

1. Click on the “Start” button
2. Click on “All Programs”
3. Click on “Accessories”
4. Click on “Run”
5. Type in %appdata% and hit “OK”
6. Double-Click on the “Corel” folder
7. Right-Click on the “Messages” folder and hit “Delete”
