SYMPTOMS
When you install software, you may receive one of the following error messages:
Error 1304. Error writing to the fileFile name and location. Verify that you have access to that directory.
-or-
Error 1305. Error Reading from File:File name and Location. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
NOTE:The only item that varies in these error messages is the file name. This error message can list any of several file names.
CAUSE
You receive one of these error messages when there is a configuration problem with your CD-ROM drive or a problem with the CD-ROM media itself
RESOLUTION

NOTE: If installing from a CD, make sure the data surface (shiny bottom side) is clean, free from defects, scratches, etc...
