Error 1310 upon installing the software


This behavior can occur when you install a particular software by means of a Microsoft Terminal Server session in which the system account does not have full permissions to all the necessary files and folders on the server. This behavior can also occur when the Windows Installer becomes unregistered during the installation process.

To unregister and reregister the Windows Installer service, please follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type msiexec /unreg, and then press ENTER.
  3. Click Start, and then click Run.
  4. In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver, and then press ENTER.
