Afloating toolbarin the middle of your screen, it may have been caused by double clicking on it. If you again double click on the toolbar name, it will return to its previous spot. Hitting the "X" will close the toolbar entirely. Holding the left mouse button after clicking on the toolbar name will let you drag/move the toolbar around or out of the way.
If the toolbar is not floating, one can move the toolbar by holding the mouse at the edge of the toolbar, so that the mouse cursor turns in to a cursor with 4 arrowheads. Clicking and holding the mouse button will let you drag the toolbar to another location, including another edge of the window.
One can change toolbar locations also by:

- Click on "Settings"
- Click on "Customize"
The "Toolbars" tab will take you to a list of Toolbars that can be moved around. Make sure you put checkmarks you would like to have turned on. Only "WordPerfect" is on normally.
If you click on options, you will see a window where you can adjust the "Toolbar Location".
By default, it should be at the "Top".
The "Property Bars" tab will show you the other toolbars that may also be in the wrong location. The highlighted/selected item will be the property that is currently drawn on the screen. If it is drawn in the wrong spot, hit "Options" and change the "Property Bar Location" to where you want it. By default, it should be at the "Top".
