How to Change the program language in Video Studio Pro x4

If you have Windows set up using one language but wish to change the language used inside Video Studio, you must change specific Operating System settings to accomplish this.


An example would be that your installation of Windows is in English but you wish to use Video Studio in French, or vice versa.

In order to change Video Studio to another language please follow the steps outlined below:

Windows Vista/7

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. In your Control Panel select Region and Language.
  4. In the Region and Language window click on the Administrative tab.
  5. Look under the Language for Non Unicode Programs section.
  6. Click the Change System Locale button.
  7. Choose the language of your choice.
  8. Click Ok and then OK again.
  9. Reboot your computer.

 


Windows XP

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. In your Control Panel select Region and Language Options.
  4. In the Region and Language window click on the Administrative tab.
  5. Look under the Language for Non Unicode Programs section.
  6. Click the Drop down and choose the language of your choice.
  7. Click Ok.
  8. Reboot your computer.
