What capture hardware is supported with Pinnacle Studio 16?

USB based:

  • 700/710-USB
  • 500/510-USB
  • 700-USB
  • 500-USB
  • MovieBox Deluxe
  • DVC-90
  • DVC-100
  • DVC-101
  • DVC-103
  • DVC-107
  • DVC-130 (There are no 64-bit drivers for this product.)
  • DVC-170 (There are no 64-bit drivers for this product.)

PCI based:

  • 700-PCI (a.k.a. Pinnacle Studio 16 Deluxe 2)
  • 500-PCI (a.k.a. Pinnacle AV/DV)
  • Any 1394 cards.

Important note: MovieBoard 500-PCI/700PCI has an issue on Windows 64 bit systems when the computer has 2GB or more system RAM. In this case Studio will crash during capture. For this reason other capture devices are recommended on most Windows 64 bit systems.

    Daan Pienaar

I wanted to reinstall my Studio 16 program but the serial number you provided is not accepted. What now?

    The number/code is JBSJX-ABEAA-COPOP-AAAKK-QUSGD.

My service code is 0257340343.  I also get the message that I need a certain service pack and the install program on the DVD is also out dated but the new program does not allow me to reinstall my program.

I hope you can assist me.

My Dazzle cannot be captured I do not know what the problem is.  If I should play back my tapes I only hear the soundbut see nothing.  Daan..
