How do I rename the CorelDRAW 11, CorelDRAW 12 , CorelDRAW X3, CorelDRAW X4 , and CorelDRAW X5 Graphics workspace folder

Renaming the Graphics folder from within the application data to help resolve diverses types of issues, such as distorb colors, application doesn't launch, freezing and hanging, corrupted workspace* etc.


* Loss of any workspace customizations, (custom settings), will result.

Please follow these steps:

1. Windows®2000,and Windows®XP,Windows®Vista, and Windows®7

1.a) Click Start | Run

1.b) Type %appdata%

1.c) Click Ok

1.d) Locate the Corel folder and double click

1.e) Locate the Graphics folder you would like to rename(11,12,13,CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 )

Append (dot) .old to the folder name, ie: CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5.old

2. For Windows®Vista Follow these Steps:

2. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | Run

2.a) Type %appdata%

2.b) Locate the Corel folder and double click.

2.c) Locate the Graphics folder you would like to rename(11,12,13,CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 )

Append (dot) .old to the folder name, ie: CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5.old

2.d) Close down all windows, and relaunch Corel Draw (11,12,13,CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4, and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5.
