This is total BS. Out of 15 installs, I have 2 that are not working and won't uninstall. To have to hack this thing out of the registry like this is ridiculous! How about you write a removal tool that will do this for me, seems like Microsoft can do it for MS Office. I have serious questions about a product that won't even install and this is the best answer that support can offer me.

    Hi Tom,

I agree with you that we should have a cleanup tool to remove WPO X8 but unfortunately, at this time it is not available.  I would like to offer you our help to do a manual removal using a remote session.  If you accept, please send me your contact information including your email address to  Diane.Sweet@corel.com

This has been the worst tech support I have ever experienced.  Why don't you people have some way to correct this error 38 for people who are not experts in computers.  I have used Word Perfect 5X for years as a lawyer and it was used by all lawyers.  Then I got Microsoft 10 and I had to purchase a Word Perfect 8X for $158.00 and you installed it.  Now, I have this error message and have spent countless hours emailing your tech non-support, customer dis-service people and finally I get a "Fix" that I'm sure most customers who are not tech support people themselves cannot manage.  I have been trying since December 17th and it is now December 26 and no one has called me or offered any kind of help.  Is there not some way someone can remotely go on my computer and fix the problem?  My ticket number is3976963.

I have tried to uninstall.  Can't find a file.  Not getting service at customer service.  Is Corel and Word Perfect really worth more than a month of hassle with Customer Service?
